Hi Friends!
For those of you travelling into town, if you're able, I’d love for you to stay a few days or more after the wedding.
I’ll be organizing some activities for us to enjoy as a group so we can spend quality time together before you leave.
I’ve included some suggestions below for things to do in town on your own, like places to eat, grab drinks, or enjoy a coffee.

Latitude 55 is Grande Prairie's premiere spot for signature cocktails, tapas-style bites, and unforgettable events. Located in The Old Firehall downtown, Latitude 55 also boasts an on-site distillery producing award-winning spirits, meaning we are able to offer a cask-to-glass experience you won’t find anywhere else. Where craft meets community!
Personal Notes: They tend to have live music, comedy nights, craft nights and more. Check the website for events!
92 Beverage Co is a cocktail bar offering a relaxed vibe in an upscale environment, located in downtown Grande Prairie, AB.
We offer the best in Peace Country hospitality with a combination of chill vibes, warm, friendly service, and upscale menu offerings providing an experience unmatched anywhere in the region.
Personal Note: They have fun events like Music Bingo night, bring your own vinyl night and more. Check the website for events.
Order online for pick up at Hallyu Korean Kitchen Restaurant. Serving delicious traditional Korean food.
Personal Note: Nice chill atmosphere. Close to the Podollan Inn & Spa. One of our favourite restaurants in town :-)
Agnee Indian Restaurant is known for its innovation and yet maintaining the original flavors of traditional India with prime focus on quality and affordability. Cooking is considered an art and our talented team of chefs, bring their expertise and passion to create marvellous dishes.
Personal Note: There are many Indian restaurants in town, and while we haven't been to all of them, this one is by far our favorite!
We specialize in serving premium Nigerian and Ethiopian dishes in Grande Prairie.
Personal Note: Great place to sit back, relax and enjoy some excellent food and Ethiopian coffee :-)
Jeffery's Cafe is within walking distance of the Podollan Inn and Spa. They offer excellent food, drinks, coffee, pastries—you name it! It's one of our favourite brunch spots in town.
We'll be having our wedding reception at this location, but it will be upstairs and feature a different menu than what's offered in the cafe.
Not to sound like a total snob (although let's be honest here...), Mink Hollow really is the best place in town to get good coffee.
They're located in the Farmer's Market and are only open on Friday evenings and Saturday during the day.
The coffee is fresh, and Andrea (one of the owners) makes fresh donuts, pastries, and bread every weekend. I highly recommend the Boston Cream donuts, though I've made a concentrated effort to forget about them...
Brent and I are here every Saturday morning—it's our weekend ritual. If you want to start your Saturday off right, we highly recommend coming here!
